Yes. We manage the full lifecycle — design and pre-construction plans, permitting and structural engineering, and the build itself through to final finishes. You work with one team instead of juggling a separate designer, permit expediter, and subcontractors, which keeps the timeline and the budget aligned from start to finish.
Is Evergreen a second-generation contractor, and does that matter?
Yes — we're a second-generation team of contractors, and for a major renovation it matters more than it sounds. It means decades of accumulated trade knowledge and a family reputation we have every reason to protect. Design-build contractor vs. traditional general contractor — which is better?
For most homeowners, design-build is simpler. One team handles design, permits, and construction under a single contract, so there's one point of accountability and fewer surprises when the drawings meet the budget. The traditional route — hiring a designer or architect separately, then bidding the build to a contractor — gives you more design independence but more coordination and more room for finger-pointing.
