The homeowner was tired of the cramped shower and outdated fixtures and felt she was finally ready to invest in a bathroom that would provide a daily escape.
That’s precisely what we achieved: European minimalism with Californian calm.
The design focuses on clean lines and natural materials. The floating vanity in light oak occupies almost the entire wall, offering ample storage while maintaining a sense of spaciousness. The vessel sink sits like a sculptural element atop the wooden countertop, paired with chrome fixtures that add just the right amount of shine without being ostentatious.
But the true luxury lies in the frameless, walk-in glass shower. We designed it as a true bathroom with floor-to-ceiling porcelain tiles in soft beige tones that convey warmth rather than coldness. The recessed niche provides practical storage without disrupting the clean lines, and the rainfall showerhead creates the resort-style experience she longed for.
Technically, this remodel required considerable work. We installed a linear drainage system with the proper slope to ensure the water flows correctly, essential in a curbless shower design. Completely new waterproofing membranes, upgraded plumbing with thermostatic valve controls to prevent temperature fluctuations, and underfloor heating beneath the large-format tiles. Why not feel the warmth when you walk in the mornings?
The window placement floods the space with natural light while maintaining privacy—a strategic location that makes all the difference. The chrome towel rail on the left isn’t just decorative; it’s a functional luxury that makes every day feel a little special.
If your bathroom becomes your favorite room in the house, we’ve done a great job.
